Exciting movies for you pleasure

Summer Blockbusters

10. Now You See Me 2

I really enjoyed the first when it came out a few years ago so I can’t wait to see what this film has in store for moviegoers.

9. The Conjuring 2

Horrors films can be pretty crap these days, but The Conjuring was brilliantly scary and the trailer for this film had me jumping.

8. The Boss

I’m a bit skeptical about this as it was written and directed by Melissa McCarthy and her husband and the last time they worked together it was on Tammy and that wasn’t great at all. That said I reckon it will do well in the box office.

7. Bad Neighbours 2

The first one was an instant classic so I am hoping this will bring something new to the table. Plus its always great to see some more topless Zac Efron action.

6. The BFG

I love Roald Dahl (I have to he’s from Cardiff like myself) so it was exciting to find out that Spielberg was creating a live action film of this.

5. Finding Dory

Though I’m not a huge fan of sequels from Pixar I am hoping this will be just as charming as Finding Nemo.

4. Ghostbusters

I am a huge fan of the original so I am really excited about this. To be honest I don’t know why people are hating on it so much (Fanboys getting annoyed its an all female cast), Paul Feig is a talented writer and director (Spy, The Heat and Bridesmaids) so I have no doubt in my mind he will do an awesome job with this film.

3. The Secret Life of Pets

I really liked the idea for this film when the teaser came out last year and there are not a lot of original films being released these days (my list consist of 6 sequels/reboots). I reckon it will be a hit not just for children but for adults too.

2. Suicide Squad

I was skeptical about this film when it was announced but when I saw the trailer I thought this film is going to be amazing. Although the reviews for Batman vs Superman weren’t that great, David Ayer is a brilliant filmmaker and Zack Snyder is not involved So it might be the lift the DC Universe needs.

1. X-Men: Apocalypse

If X-Men wasn’t on this list, Suicide Squad would probably #1, but as I am a huge X-Men fan, there was no competition. I love that they are finally linking the timeline together with the original trilogy and we get to see the young Storm, Cyclops and Jean. In addition Oscar Isaac looks pretty bad ass as Apocalypse so this a sure win for Bryan Singer.
